Hope this is the right forum for this question.

I was given a task to update a firm's web pages. The pages contain java script which I haven't used a lot. When I open the index page the design and the code side inform me that my browser does not support script.

What does this mean? Is it due to the fact that I don't have a java script program on my computer.

Please help!

it either means your browser has javascript disabled or the previous programmer got something wrong.

I have a web pages of my own which contains JavaScript as well. When I open these pages Dreamweaver does not complain. So this would have to mean that the problem is in the code and not in my broswer right?

So the only way for me to fix this is by fixing the code...
