This page shows how to make preloading page - so when you enter some url then you will see this page as long as "real" page is loading. i tried this and it works but not that way as i'd like it would work.

1) i'd like that it would not use pop-up page method (cos it will get blocked), i.e. that part of code which opens my loading.html page would not get blocked by my pop-up blocker. i dunno how i should change this code so it would work like i want. i hope you understand what i'm asking here.

My gut tells me that users would find this annoying, but you could overlay a DIV over the whole page, then when the page is fully loaded, it hides. But, IMHO, if your page is taking so long it needs a loading graphic, you need to trim down your file size page. In the day and age of broadband, your page should not take that long to load. A couple seconds at most. But on my connection your page takes less than 5 seconds to load - the loading notice would blink on then off again.
