am i right in thinking that it's possible to 'dissolve' images with javascript.

i would like to click on an image that is then rplaced by another image of the same size with a fad-in transistion.

does anyone have a scropt like that?

Well I don't think that jscript can do the fade in action...
You need to do it with another aniamtion software such as Flash (wich is the easiest for that kinda of transition).

This is a tough one. JavaScript can do this but some browsers may have a few bugs. On the other hand, not everyone has Flash installed (5%).

Oh yeah nice, so you use a script that will repeat itself every second (or anything you want) that will add in the opacity of the picture? then if opacity=0 change pic?
