I recently read the book "DOM scripting". In order to practice my new found knowledge I created an entire interactive webpage with just javascript and CSS and no html. wow.

check it out - http://www.aspirecreate.com/domgardens/

Is this a world's first?

It's not a first, jason_bristol. It's not bad, but it's not a first.

The problem with your idea is that it doesn't cater to those who have Javascript disabled. I know you weren't trying to, but if you were going to do anything commercial with this thing, you'd have to consider it.

It's very cool.

FYI, if you're planning to use this to "encrypt" a page's markup ( there's a question about that on another forum on this site ), the HTML DOM tree in FireBug still shows the complete html as created by the javascript.

ahh. so it does. I just checked it out. If I knew that before creating this page I would have had a much easier time.
