Hello,
I am no javascript guy so I dont have much idea.
I have a page which shows subjects that the user selects.. But the problem is that if the user selects too many subjects they take up two lines and that does not work with the layout, so I want a div which has two buttons > and < which can slide the <div> contents along.

I'm pretty sure what you are talking about is actually AJAX.
