Well .. the thing is like this .. I have a page .. in php .. that gets the results and displays them accordingly .. ( people online/offline ) .. the online/offline part is allready made .. ( I have some threads continuing scanning the users when changing status ) .. the part I'd like to have ( if somebody can write the code is like this ) :

show the users online ( ar all of them ) and then check every 3 secs if the user ( the datas about user's status can be read from mysql ) is online or offline .. without refreshing the whole page .. just that part with the user .. hope you understood what I'm trying to say .. and sorry if I'm causing too much trouble or headaches with my poor english
