Does anyone know of any good links to learn various validations of forms and dynamic effects with JavaScript?

I am not great with JavaScript but know I can validate a form and make some dynamic effects.

I am trying to build and insurance quote form where I can verify the Name and eMail address, etc. +

Also, I am trying to create a form with a button to add a driver/vehicle and the required questions and relevant input fields appear below the previous driver/vehicle. Therefore, add as many drivers/vehicles they need.

Any help would be appreciated.

oh yeah and how to make a counter to see how many visitors I get?

I don't have a specific link for you. I learned JavaScript through the O'Reilly book and usually only search for specific questions, but I know there are plenty of tutorials on form validation if you search a little. I also thought by answering I'd bump your thread so others might see it and hopefully have recommendations for specific sites.

I do want to point out that when it comes to validation you should look at JavaScript only as a way to make the form convenient for your visitors. JavaScript validation is not secure at all and you need to validate on the server side as well.

As far as a counter is concerned there are free stats programs available. You possibly have one with your hosting account and you can also sign up for Google Analytics which is free. The hit counters you see on some sites are useless as hits aren't meaningful to measure. You're better off getting a full stats package and there are several that are free.
