Is there anything against editting games to put your logo at the start? I know Matthew has done it but I never get a proper answer as to if it is allowed.

It would help to prevent leeching by a lot which is something I want to edit to put my into to for.

I hope someone here will give me a clear answer as to what the issues of doing it are.

What I am doing, is simply loading a custom flash loader while the script is loading. Often times games have loading scripts, or even a blank screen while the game is loading. I simply have a customized loader for my games.

It is not taking anything away from the game, nor is it claiming it as my own.

I would love to do that with the games I host on my website to stop those leachers.

He's not modifying the games as I understand it. It's just that the pre-loader for the game is his logo.

Well, a pre-loader is made in flash, so I suppose you have to know flash or buy / find it somewhere. I'm not a programmer, sorry

Aha I found one at http://www.amarasoftware.com/flash-p...-preloader.htm I'll try that one and see if it works well for me. Its free for anyone else who wants it and seems simple to use from the instructions.

Yeah, freeloaders are flash, and they are just loaded before the actual file is loaded to keep the user occupied.
