Yes. Earnings are earnings.

It is $600. and you do not have to report all of your income. After $600 yes, before, no.

mumbo jumbo: im not an attorney/lawyer or accountant so do not take this as legal advice (but it's $600 in Ohio)

As stated above, earnings are earnings. Child actors pay a mad amount of taxes (even though someone else is handling their finances).

Yes, we have to pay too. My question about this is: How do you go about reporting? I have had several Adsense checks and don't have the checks or stubs anymore or have recorded the info anywhere. From now on I will be saving all of my info and putting aside about 1/4 of my earnings for taxes. How do I know how much to report from the ones I missed? Will google send everything I earned the IRS and will they tell me what I owe or do i have to figure out everything myself? Would it be a good idea to consult an accountant to figure things out for me?

In answer to the original question, and speaking from a UK angle, ALL income must be declared, even if you wash the nieghbours car for $5 - according to the tax office anyway !

i think you should check your state and fed laws... b/c i think federal is 600 but state may be higher or lower (if ur state has an income tax)

I hope the free tax law gets passes then we wont have to worry about any of this!!!
