Funnel there's nothing stopping you from submitting, but you really don't need to. As long as you have some links pointing to your site the search engines will find you. The link in your forum signature would be enough for any search engine to find you.

Ya, your site will automatically be indexed. What you need to do is add good meta tags AND RELEVENT TEXT matching to the keywords.

Gogle and other robots do a comlex indexing.
They will check your sites page data if it matches the meta tags or not. If they dont then your site goes down on their "good" pages.

Secondly- robots will pick up bigger fonts placed on top of page first
thirdly- header data
fourthly- footer data
fifthly- if you have a scrolling text, it indexs better.
6thly- if the site has links, your site is spidered in the network faster.
7th ly- submit to google only and the rest of the search engines will
harvest it.
8th-- make a site at geocities.com - link it to ur main site and yahoo will pick
it like anything.
9thly
if your site has more hits, it will be placed on top.

Next see this example-
================

<meta name="keywords" content="Dr Robert James, jamesmedline, medical database, drjamesmd, abortion, adolescent, affective disorder, AIDS, allergy, allograft, ambulatory, anemia, anesthesia, angina, anorexia, antibiotic, antiretroviral, anti-TNF inhibitor, antiviral, anxiety disorders, arthritis, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, articles, asthma, bacterial, bipolar disorder, birth control, blood transfusion, bone, brain death, brain tumor, breast cancer, cardiology, carpal tunnel, catheter, central nervous system, chemotherapy, child abuse, chronic rejection, CME, colorectal cancer, complications, COX-2 inhibitor, critical care, cystic fibrosis, dermatology, depression, diabetes, diagnosis, doctor, drug resistance, drugs, eating disorders, emphysema, endocrinology, epilepsy, erectile dysfynction, estrogen, family practice, fetal tissue, fracture, gastroenterology, gastroesophageal reflux, genes, genetics, graft, gynecology, heart disease,spiritual help">

<meta name="description" content="Features Database of medical links, medical journal articles, Free CME, MEDLINE, case reports, medical news, major conference coverage, and comrehensive drug information.">

<meta name="rating" content="general">

<META content="Copyright ©2002 - 2010" name=copyright>

<META content="2 Days" name=revisit-after>

<META content=never name=expires>

<META content type=adult>

<META content=global name=distribution>

<META content=index.htm,index.html,index,follow name=robots>

<META content="Microsoft FrontPage 6.0" name=GENERATOR>

<META content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0" name=GENERATOR>

<META content=FrontPage.Editor.Document name=ProgId><!--[if gte mso 9]>
===============================

Add these type of meta words,especially in ur index pages.

Make sure ur index page doesnt have dead links.Spiders dont like it.

I agree those meta tags are a waste of time. In fact search engines will pretty much ignore all but the first two and even the meta keywords tag isn't going to do much.

With all the keywords in the one above I would even suggest the tag will be seen completely as spam and have an effect that isn't what you intend.

I'm also not a big fan of just accepting the advice of any seo software. Much of the information you'll get from soemthing like webceo will be outdated and some of their suggestions will probably cause more harm than good. That doesn't mean you can't use them. Some can give you some good data, but definitely not the thing to follow blindly. You still need to know what you're doing and see the software as a tool.

There is no magic formula or magic software to seo.

In actual fact there isn't one thing in that post that is of any use whatsoever.

I'd suggest that before dishing out "advice" You learn it first!!!
