It's kind of an interesting approach and nice to see msn trying something new, but yeah it's really not an improvement. It took took long to load initially for a search engine and the up/down button thing on the right really doesn't make seeing results beyond the first 10 any faster. It actually slows down scrolling for me.
I think the slider to control how much you see about the site was is a nice touch and the looks is rather clean.
It's still in beta so I'll forgive any errors at the moment and be curious to see what it's like when it's out of beta.
It does kind of seem like msn trying to jump on the Ajax badwagon a bit, which is kind of funny since one of the major technolgies in Ajax is a microsoft creation.

i can tell you that in terms of indexing, i think msn is better than google.
when you are indexed in msn you stay there and in google some days you are indexed some days you are not.
