I am developing a .NET API for a travel reservation system. I have tried many code generators but none of them has been able to help me to develop our API that, eventually, is going to be exposed as a web service. I am wondering if anybody used any code generator applications for developing a .NET API? Thanks a lot!

The best, and really only one I've used is the refactoring support inside Visual Studio. Once you build your logic, it'll encapsulate member variables into properties, help you organize your methods, all that great stuff, and then generate a wsdl.

I certainly understand the problem that you are facing. There are not so many code generators that produce a separation of the application layers. I am using < removed > Code that is available at < link drop removed >. Why don’t you give it a try? I am sure that you will get up to speed very soon and < removed > Code will facilitate a smooth development process for the project that you are working on. Happy Holidays!

It's nice when two brand new members from the same IP can "help" each other like that. </sarcasm>

Mind you it's a bit odd when you start talking to yourself on forums.

The stupid thing is, the code gen tool that was link dropped looked OK (from a non .NETter POV) and had this person NOT tried to be smarter than the staff (you have to be up a lot earlier to catch us out) and NOT made himself look foolish as well, the URI would have been allowed and the tool would have got some impartial reviews.

So well done mate! You blew it!
