hi all..

i am confuse right now.

let say i want to convert mysql database using xml and use it in microsoft web developer that used sql server.. is it possible?

how about the processes? any software that used or just XML itself...

Use VisWebDev to create a dataset that models the DB, let it build the adapters, fill it from MySQL, and write it to SQL. Visual Studio will write all the logic for you.

my task is : to convert Microsoft sql server 2000 database into MySQL database.

i manage to use the data to the new web system.

XML as a middleware between both database

Does the MySQL database already exist? Just use DataSet objects and let Visual Studio write the adapter code.

not yet create..

perhaps im right... we use tool (dataset) from ms Visual Web Developer to convert it and later can be use in MySQL?
