Hi I have a scrollbar on my page with a lot of text. And sometimes when I start scrolling, it jumps up again.

I have tried to write: MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback="true"

but it won't work, for that, does anyone have any other ideas?

look ,,, maybe you need to use SmartNavigation attributes in the direction of you aspx page ,, make it true maybe that can fix this problem ,,, check for smarnavigation okay and make it true ,, i hope it work

Now I tried to write in pageload on the codebehind page:

Page.MaintainScrollPositionOnPostBack = true;
Page.SmartNavigation = true;

But it still doesn't seem to work, do you have any other ideas to what it can be? Maybe it isn't because it is postbacking, maybe it is something else?

look man ,,, i used to learn that smartnavigation can work well with all the page when rendering when use it on the page directive on aspx page not on the code behind try it make the attributes for the all page directive SmartNavigation = "True"

No it still doesn't work, but when I refresh the page then the scroll bar still stays where it was before, so it works if it is a postback, but it jums abit up, when you try scrolling on the page, so it isn't a postback.

yes i understand you ,,, but look you have to search about someone can help you in web layout ,,, i prefer you check the CSS or Html forums maybe someone can help because i think maybe this problem is with rendering for the first time exactly when the page is load for first time okay ,,, sorry if i cant help you but really am not professional but i try to help
