i had a datagrid with date and price columns.
what i wanted to do is to populate the date and total the price..
assume my date format as dd/mm/yy
example:
from this...
date price
1.1.2009 $70.00
1.1.2009 $90.00
2.1.2009 $50.00
2.1.2009 $50.00

to this...
date price
1.1.2009 $160.00
2.1.2009 &100.00

i'm using ms access as the database.
any idea..?

should be done in the SQL query

SELECT date,price FROM table GROUP BY date

I believe it's more like this. Chrishirst, I'm surprised with you, normally your answers are exact and perfect.

Select date, Sum(Price) From table Group By date
