hello everyone,

basically what i would like to do is have a WebUserControl that is editable by specified users.

most people will just see it as text on the page but some people will be able to press an edit button, lets say.

i would like to edit the text with tinyMCE if possible, but i dont really care.
aslong as the user can update the text and save the changes. the ability to add hyperlinks would aslo be essentail.

any ideas or examples to look at would be great.

i thought this was possile using a text box and a label but got side tracked by the cool wysiwigs out there.

You could have a tectbox on the page thats 'visible=false' and then on the page load has it check who is viewing the page and if theyre logged in & who they are 'if User.Identity.Name = "(whatever you want here)" then textbox1.visible = true'

Then have a save button and basically save the info thats put into the text box where-ever you want it called from
