Hi all,

I'm trying to get up to speed with using .NET for web apps.
I've got the .NET2.0 framework installed on my local WinXP dev machine along with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition and I've managed to create a simple website - so far so good.

What I'd like to do is use "iTextSharp" to create/manipulate PDF documents. I have downloaded it from SourceForge, but have no idea how to get it working. I've had a look at this MSDN article:

but I'm not sure if I can do this using Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. I've even seen some forum comments elsewhere that stated that you can't even use C# with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition.

Before now I've worked with php, so the MS way of doing things (installs, configs, etc) is still very foreign and more complex to what I'm used to,

If it comes to you with a dll then put that dll into the root of your web app and follow their tutorial. http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/index.html

oops hehehe, put the dll in the bin folder in the root directory of your app, if there is no bin folder create one like you would a normal folder.
