New Member Introductions

Dear all,
just thought I'd say hello, as I never have done on these forums. I like to think of myself as breaking some of the stereotypes of web design, being only 14. In summary, I would say I am clever (oh don't you just love grammar schools"), modest, hard working, and generally happy.
You can check out my website at www.Foundation-Flash.com, which I run along with my business partner. We have overheads of £0, which is always handy, but fitting stuff in around GCSEs isn't so.. oh well. Can't complain really - being a web designer/developer beats doing a paper round any day.
I can do VB.net, PHP, CSS, xHTML, XML, Flash (AS2 and 3) and pretty good JavaScript. All in a day's work I guess.

Let me be the first to welcome you to our forums. dont worry about your age, there are many people around here your age and even much younger. as for breaking the stereotype's, im with you on that one. i started learning web design at 12, and had opened my own small business at the age of 14, so make yourself at home and enjoy your stay

I'm only 16 and have just finished my GCSEs this summer (did rather well if I say so myself

).

I've also got my own business (which currently doesn't bring in much money) but I hate all the tax stuff grrrrr.

Harry, welcome to this forum. Now kids are joining on the community when they learn to open browsers. That is a good news.

I know some one who have more than 60 sites on the age of 14.

Welcome to WT, Harry. Age, either way (young or old), doesn't matter for alot of things, including being a webmaster. I'm on the other side of age, old.
