I was very excited to come across this active and very helpful forum. I just signed on and wanted to share a brief introduction.
I'm a family doctor based in San Jose, California. I started MeisterMed ( www.MeisterMed.com) back in 2001 to develop and publish medical references for handheld computers. I'm just starting to develop online versions of some of my medical e-books for members-only access.
My web design skills are pretty rudimentary as you can see from following the link above. Still, I've enjoyed learning over the past several years about web design, ecommerce, online marketing/advertising, shopping carts, and everything else that goes into developing an online business. I've recently discovered the power of outsourcing and am excited to be able to get into some new projects that are far beyond my technical ability.
