Hi! My name is Mike. I'm from Scranton, Pennsylvania in the US.

I LOVE money, but I hate working 8 hours a day in an office to make that money. I've got a couple of sites that I'm working on. And I'm planning to move to New York to go back to school in a few short months. So I want to bring my sites up to par and start making some money as soon as possible.

It's a pleasure to have found the earnersforum and I can't wait to get to know all of you.

The sad thing is, I JUST graduated from college in 2003 and I'm already completely burnt out from the real world. It's so not for me. There's a total lack of creativity. When I go to New York, I'm going to for sound engineering and recording, so that will seriously kick ***. Even if people are still totally uptight in the recording industry, at least I'll get to deal with music and people who are more creative.

lol. I keep laughing because everytime I go to the State Park with my girlfriend or this lake I walk around, I start going "GOD! THIS Is what life is supposed to be!!! Connecting with nature, not working 8 hours a day for the rest of your life! 8 hours a day is a third of your entire week. A THIRD!" lol. I get pretty wound up. :yes:

I'm definitely not afraid to work hard on my own business. I usually go straight home after work and start going "ok. Now it's time to rock." The main problem is that I use my best and most creative energy for work and I'd rather use it on my own business. .

It gets worse, they suck you in and get you to work 60hours per week. I am a senior network analyst and think its about time that I worked for myself

I can so much relate to this! After working for 6 years in the industry, I noticed that I completely lost connection with nature! I suddenly realized all these years made me numb, and makes you believe this is all there is in live. So I took the step and resigned a few weeks ago, to be self-employed next month!

You're lucky to realize this early on in life. All the best! :thumbup:
