Hello everyone, I am glad to have found this excellent forum! I recognize some of your screenames from webmasterworld, digitalpoint, sitepoint, and the warrior forum.
I have been in IM for over 5 and a half years, and fulltime at it for one year. My original business was a moderately e-commerce electronics store where we have shipped orders to customers in over 100 countries. However, this is very hard and frustrating work and our sector has performed badly in the past year. As a result, I decided to shift focus onto webpublishing. Since I do not know much about webpublishing, I entered this discipline by buying established websites. I now run over 900 sites but aim to cut it down to more manageable size this year.
At the moment, besides my wife, I have 4 full-time employees to help out of which one is a web designer. So hopefully, we will be able to do a lot of interesting stuff this year.
