Besides blogs, there are many ways to go to making money online:
Building your own website and selling products/services
Google AdSense
Providing skills on eLance and similar sites (writing, installing scripts and software, etc.)
Writing articles for different article sites that will pay writers to write articles for them (this includes Private Label Article writing.)
These are just some ways; there are other ways as well. The possibilities are numerous, if not endless - you just need to analyze what is going on online, recognize the skills you have, build on those skills, learn new skills, learn how to apply them in ways that can make you money online, and then apply them. It sounds very involved, and it does take work, but once you start to learn the basics, things get easier and you can get more done in a shorter period of time.
Of course, helpful forums like Earners Forum can help you and encourage you when you have trouble or feel discouraged as well.
