Hi,

I'm 17, from the UK and own one site that earns $2000 per month using a CJ affiliate programme.

I have expensive tastes which I need to fund; this makes me very motivated to increase my current earnings.

I can program very well in .net C# 3.0, ASP.NET, Java, JSP, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML and I'm quite capable using unmanaged C++.

The jobs in Computer Science pay relatively little unless you have a PhD in mathematics and economics, which take ages to get and possibly ends in a much lower salary unless you went to an ivy league university, which only accept people with A*'s in everything.

I don't want to get carried away with programming abilities because a lot of high earning sites I've seen usually focus on the actual money making idea, rather than the technical implementation. You can easily waste time on the design, when what really matters is getting the offer across effectively, something I've learnt with my site.

I think networking with other motivated members is important; I want to use this site to open up a lot of opportunities in anything that can earn a reasonable amount.

just out of curiousity, what's the pagerank of your homepage of the site which makes $1000? and what industry themes are your CJ projects oriented around?

PR6, I won't give out the exact niche, but it's for a type of hobby that's expensive and constantly needs parts replacing (huge number of parts available).

This is with the ebay programme, so if you can rank for some strange unheard-of part, then you can drop the cookie and get the commission for something they buy from ebay (these people are constantly using ebay).

The item they buy has never been the one they found on my site.

And $25 user registrations are always good.

this is my month for taking eBay a little more seriously

and after seeing this thread it has reminded me to do so

I use a product called BANS - buildanichestore.com and have found it to be pretty much fun

ps.. do note .. no affiliate link attached .. I recommend it because it can give people something to work on from scratch, especially if they trying to get into the online biz side of things
