New Member Introductions

Ok, so I thought I had done a introduction months ago ..er.. whenever I first joined the site, but I guess I didn't.. so here goes.

I'm Katharina Katt (not my real name - you can't stalk me!)

but I use that name as a writing name. 'NaughtyGirl' is a blog persona I use on a site and it fits me pretty well. I'm always getting myself in trouble, but not usually on purpose.

I've been disabled with a seizure condition for close to 9 years now, this year, 2008, is the 10 year anniversary of the car accident I was in that started it all.

I've published a few books, written in magazines, and basically done my best not to give up.

I've been a webmistress a good 5 years or more now with the money makers being in the last 2 years when I decided I was tired of being broke!

This year is actually the first year I've made money at it. Last year I stayed in the red pretty much.

I'm not rich by a long shot, and people still make a day..or even a few hours, what I make a month, but its still really cool that I can send my kids birthday and xmas gifts this year. YAY

I've been really going crazy on the current Webmaster-talk contest and been writing my heart out. Everything I know will soon be filling the article section to the hilt!

I'm already having seizure problems because of it, but I think the prizes will give my sites the boost I really need and can't get without having a good chunk of a marketing budget on my own.

Also, I'm American but living in Europe and travel to the US once a year. My sites are all US based. Other than the time zones and international phone call costs, its just like working in the US. Sorta.

You say some really sad things in this message, but you seems very optimistic, so I guess you're feeling more up than down.
This is a good thing.

A wish you a big "good luck" in that contest (I'm not taking part in it) and a warmly welcome to this board.

I honestly make more money with my sites than I ever did writing. A friend of mine is an author too and he just received his latest royalty check and said he's off to get a happy meal with it. I can totally relate.

Yes one does need to work a couple of hours on the net to make a little extra money. They have to invest absolutely NOTHING. No money to be put into this ever! And still they earn!

Well I try to show here one of the many ways in which one can actually earn.

ofcourse one will not get overnite rich but eventually most of the monthly bills will start to get pay off!

That's what I started with, nothing but my time. I've learned a lot through the last 2 years.

While I do agree you can make money from no money, you can certainly make MORE money WITH money. heh

I'd KILL for a advertising budget. lol
