Hi to everyone. I do love computers (I have six wirelessly linked). However, on the down side my son's PC needs full disruption. The PC restore will not work, there is no recovery console and the set of recovery disks I have are for some reason damaged.

Can anyone help me before I throw this PC out of the window.

Not sure if this is the appropriae place to say about problems with this. I will check the site to try and find the right one unlesss anyone know which forum I ought to go for advice.

Hi its nice to meet you, anyway can you be more specific what are you trying to do?

Do a reformat.
1.Back up all files you want to save on Cd or external hard drive
2.Enter BIOS (f2 on Dells) and change the boot up operation to only see the CD drive
3. Load Operating System disc
4.Format drive
5. Fresh install + install service pack2 and drivers.
