New Member Introductions

Hi!
I've been searching for forums about being a webmaster and I came across this one. It looks interesting with lots of helpful information!

I'm a newbie with running a website. I've played around with various ones for years but I never really serious. Back in January of this year, I decided to start a fan website for my favorite TV chef, Alton Brown. I love to cook and adore his show, Good Eats (and his other shows too).

I'm a Mac user, but thus far I haven't had too much problems in creating my site and having it look ok on PCs. I have a PC at work, so I can check up on it that way.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and expect some dumb newbie posts from me for awhile until I get the hang of this webmaster thing!

Welcome to WT Lisa. No worries about being a newbie. We all were newbies at some point. Never feel like you can't ask a question. Most of us here will be happy to help. In general we're very happy to help people wanting to learn new things.

I really enjoy doing website design and management and I need to learn more about it! So coming here will certainly be high on my list.

Glad you're already finding help. I know how you feel about web design. I started learning a few years back and have never stopped. Every time I learn something it just makes me want to learn more.
