Greetings fellow web developers and fortune seekers,
My name is David Mesenbrink and I'm 17 years old. 
I joined this site for a support community for my web building. Heres my situation. I am potentially becoming a foreign exchange student to germany next year and If I'm accepted I need to raise about $3000 on my own for personal spending and a plane ticket. The job market is soooo constipated around where I live I don't know how I can find a job. Even if I did it would be minimum wage and I would barely be able to scrape up enough while working 20+ hours a week. So to cut a long story short, Im looking into my prospects of making money online WITHOUT buying into any of these scams that float around.
Thankfully I have always had an aptitude toward computers. I have developed crappy 2D computer games for 5 years using a program called Gamemaker. I also know basic c++ and own visual studio 2005. In addition, I know html and javascript is similar to c++ in syntax so its easy to figure out.
With these assets in mind, It is my idea to spiffy up my web design skills and build custom websites for people. I also might try to create a site with tutorials and stuff and make ad revenue. I kindof need adobe flash in order to create serious web content. 
Feedback time. I would like to know if this plan is feasable and if I could reach the desired goals of $3000 with no expenses in about 6 months? Please offer suggestions and point me in the right direction.
