Whats up everyone?! I'm one of the new people here today just doing the whole formal intro thing.
A little about me, my name is Jake... I'm 27... I've lived in Georgia, and a brief stint in Texas... But, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. I'm an avid sports fan and basically I know nothing about websites at all. I went thru Hurricane Katrina and now reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.
Due to some of the media outlets calling us (the people who evacuated New Orleans) refugees I adopted that name. 504 is the area code of New Orleans, so its basically a shout out to the homeland.
So like I said before I don't know anything about websites or building a website. And since I'm just really planning on practicing and hosting small files... I just went to godaddy.com and got some hosting and a domain name tried to jump right in, and then realized the water is a little deeper than expected 
So the last day or so, I've been a sponge just looking for any tutorials, tips, tricks, advice, links anything that anyone has to offer to the ultimate newbie.
I'll be lurking over these forums more and more as I become more comfortable and understanding the lingo to this new tech world.
