Was looking on Google for a community that could help me with questions and site problems I have as I Work my way up in the internet world and came across this place.
It looks like a solid site with a lot of members so I'm pretty excited to talk and meet a lot of you guys.
First question for anyone.
I wanted to work my way into using some type of CMS.
I started working with Joomla 1.5 for a little bit, but started to get overwhelmed pretty quick.
Even with ad dons and modules I can not for the life of me get my Joomla site to look less like a blog site.
Is there a system that has less restrictions with more flexibility then the Joomla system?
My goal is to be able to provide my customers with a simple, easy to use site with a CMS while allowing me to stay in control of the layout and design and alowing them to be able to customize, add, and remove any content they please. weather it be just page content, or pictures and videos.
