that's right, i quit my job june 1st and now i'm trying to make a living online (while at the same time going back to school!) it's going to be a busy three years - but i'm looking forward to it. i've been working as a webmaster for the last few years for a media company, but the desire to challenge myself with the task of being my own boss won out and i did have a desire in a bit of a "now or never" moment to return to school.
for the last three months i've been spending every waking moment outside of my regular job working on a plugin called auction2post - it utilizes the eBay API and allows members of the eBay Partner Network to automatically add blog posts to their Wordpress site - filled w/ auction information. i'm pretty stoked about it and sales have been good since opening sales last week. coupled w/ my epn sites i'm making about what i was working full time - so it's just a matter of building, building, and building.
