Let me first say I am pleased to be a part of this community. This forum is quite amazing and I have been meaning to make an account for quite some time now

.
So...hello from NY!
Now, I usually look down upon people who post threads in the wrong category..but to be honest, I don't know if my question has to do with design, code, java, etc.
I am making a very beneficial website that I would like to keep secret until it is closer to being finished. But in order for it to function properly...I need this to happen..
It must have a search option that will target other members..based on the keywords they filled out for themselves.
For example, A guy intends to post his store which sells men's shoes on the site, so upon filling out his Site Listing Application...he is given a form to type all the keywords that relate to products in his store.
So a shoe shopper comes along.. clicks the categories Shoes and Apparel...and in the search bar types puma shoes... All of the listings of stores(that owners have listed on the site) that contain the keyword(s) puma, pumas, shoes, mens puma, etc. and etc. pop up...and the shopper can then click on the link he or she chooses.
How can I set up a little search engine within my site..just to show the results of links that other members have posted...based on their keywords..?
I hope I am making sense!
If anyone can help shed some light on whether its HTML, or there is a program, or whatever..that'd be great!
If you want to help but need a better picture..let me know
Advertising,Marketing, SEO, you name it...I can do it. Site building...sheesh I feel computer challenged ( and I am not by any means

)
Thanks so much!
I can't wait to become an active member
