live in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in England, I was a moderator on adsensechat but got fed up of the owners simple in ability to kill off or take basic controls against spam.

Thanks folks - nice to feel welcome in a forum, this certainly has a happy feel to it, not a "shoot me down in flames for asking a dumb question forum". Some forums fail to recognize that we all have to start at the bottom.
