Hey there, this seems like a great forum, lots of members, lots of discussions.
I've been building static sites for a while now and I recently went back to college to learn PHP, ASP, Network Security, etc.
My networking professor and others are telling me that learning how to make dynamic sites is a waste of time and it'll be hard to make a living as a web designer. But then others say it's great. So I'm trying to reach out to people who actually make websites for a living, who can maybe dispel the rumors and maybe help guide me as to what skills I will need to land a job.
