My name is Chuck, and I run the hobby website removed
I had someone make it for me many years ago, like 2005 or so to run my online golf club [ removed which play a older online golf game.
Anyways. I recently retired in 2009 and one of my new life goals was to learn webdesign as a new hobby. I also do onlineracing. removed
So between my two teams, I want to be albe to support them and learn this new hobby of webdesign.
I know it will be a daunting task, but still a new goal.
I wrote a message earlier when i signed up above in the
webdesign forum with my webdesign problems before i found this introduction forum.
I want to learn how to convert and move my sites from a older windows (asp) server to my new linux server. The former uses access /asp. The new ones use php/ mysql. Can it be done without having to completely rewrite all the webpages?? Im not sure Im up to that task as my contract with my old host runs out the middle of december.
Anyways, since this is a intro forum. I wont go into that here.
I look forward to learning webdesign and making new friends here.
