Hello, my name is Jayden. I'm 18, female, and I'm from Australia. I've always been interested with computers and the Internet. I'm currently in University studying Internet Studies. But I only started that this year.

I don't know too much about SEO, but I'm slowly learning the importance of it. I tend to work alone when it comes to websites. I don't really know anyone else who works on websites like I do. That's why I've joined this forum. So that I can help people who need it, and hope that you guys will help me when I need it. I have a lot to learn still.

I know HTML, CSS, and some php and mysql. I know enough PHP to build my own websites, but I could still learn more.

I'm currently working on a social networking website. I'm coding it myself, so I can have features I want in it. Rather then paying for a script and so on. This project is completely not funded XD So it's going to be interesting to see how far I get.

I think if I do it right, I should have a pretty good hit on my hands. The general idea will appeal to people. But I don't want to give out too many details because people have a habit of taking my ideas. >> . <<

Anyway, there's just one thing I'd like a little advice on, and that's when I should start building up my website/domain's ranks. Should I try to get it good ranking while I work on the script, and build up hype before it opens? Or should I finish the script completely and then open it and start working on SEO and stuff?

First community I did, was an avatar site. Which became very popular instantly because of the avatars and word of mouth.
