Which location is being shown by my IP...It will be showing USA but I am not from USA....Conclusion: IP doesn't tell true location all the times as there are many IP changers.

Your IP address doesn't show USA, doesn't show Canada either, unless there is another Toronto in another country.

When a Member signs up I can maybe understand claiming they are from somewhere else so they can fit into the community. In this day and age globally, buyers have the right to know who and where they are doing business with.

I wouldn't understand people that claim they're from a different country. Why is there a reason to be ashamed of where you're from?

Hello David,

I assume it may have to do with politics and/or religion, it's possible they feel they may not be accepted. Personally I don't have a problem with anybody no matter what country they are from, we have the jerks right here in this country, although I think they are global also.

I did mention this in another New Member Introduction thread, if a new member mentions they are from somewhere and their IP address shows a different country, I will bring this to the attention of the members in case there is a business transaction, it's for their protection.

The jerks are most definitely global as well.

I believe it's smart of you to mention that, since people do have the right to know who they're making business with - and if someone lies about a fact like this they'll probably lie more.
