Hi all,
- I guess im a newbie here on these forums, but I've been searching around for resources and networking potential and decided I would stop by and hang out a bit, perhaps. I'm an Electrical Engineering student (sophomore) here at the University of Texas @ Dallas in the Lone Star State.
- I'm currently trying to get into the web-design business a bit more. I've done sites back in the day when frontpage 98 was out and such and I was in high school... but never really got into it as a hardcore hobby. Lately, with the realization that one part-time job doesn't get me enough spending cash and a second part time job (i tried the UPS midnight shift for a few weeks) is too much when you're doing Engineering, Calculus, and Chemistry (all with labs), I decided that maybe pulling back into web-design could get me some experience in the IT field as well as some networking and extra cash.
- My first client, provided he accepts my proposal (if he doesn't he's crazy), should be getting back with me within the next few days to setup an e-commerce site for the health/fitness drink that he sells. Looking forward to a learning experience and such. If anyone needs some part time maint. or design (flash, photoshop, page design, etc) let me know!
