Penang, Malaysia. An island hit by the recent tsunami - but it was the least affected compared to other countries (apart from Myanmar (Burma)). Did you know that there was no tourist/foreigner casualties at all? Damage to beach resorts at most was some dirt and mud in a swimming pool or two, and some deck chairs.... When I told these to some of my westerner friends, they were surprised!
