hello everyone.. was hopin if i could get some few tips and strategies on how to link build.. actually i just started work hir in our company for a week now.. and im just waiting for our new client for me to link... i do hope i get any tips, hints, strategies on how can i make a good start... or wer to start... ty

Boy, I'm out of touch with link building, too. Since you're asking I hope it's all right if I toss in a question that everyone seems to know all about -- just what is this 3-way link building that's all the buzz lately? Thanks -- zrohder, hope you don't mind me tossing in my question, too!

Welcome, Michael, and if you're looking for advice on how to link build, I will give it to you in two very simple words:

"Earn it."

Earn your links. Build content that people want to link to, tell the right people, and they will in ways you can't imagine. I see sites all the time linking to stuff I do and I don't even know what half of them are (of course, it's also a cool way to learn about what else is online based on who links to you...it's how I learned what the heck StumbleUpon was.)

Jeni, to answer your 3-way link building question, 3-way linking is:

Site A links to Site B links to Site C links back to Site A. In other words, the three sites form a triangle. It's yet another myth being propagated online that has to stop.

I look at it this way - where will blackhat SEOs be in 5 years time? Still trying to find holes in Google's indexing methods? Google seeks to continually improve it's results, so blackhatters will have to constantly be on their toes! (wow that sort of rhymed

) Whitehat SEO is acceptable to Google and I doubt they will do anything to change that - therefore blackhat SEO is unsustainable and worthless in the long term!
