There should be a vbulletin option to hide the forum unless the user knows the URL. Don't know if that helps or not. :/

The easiest way would be to change the Forum Permissions so that the only groups that can see that particular forum would be guests, "unknowns", and staff.

I think it's a very bad idea to hide the application forum. What if us who have already been accepted need to apply for a higher group? Say we break into the $5K/month boundary...

Good point. I say leave it - it doesn't affect us that much anyway.

Yeah I thought about removing it from view, but then that would prevent someone from filling out an "upgrade" application.

The big, bold link that says:

“Have you APPLIED for the Private Usergroup Yet?”
Goes to the top of the application info page when clicked. It's also on the application info page itself and goes nowhere from there except for the top of the same page.

Following a difrent path leads to a page that says I have applied, but I don’t remember being asked about my income or any details about the websites I operate.

“Our records show that you have already registered under the name of Hawaii SEO. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here.”

But… The application for promotion (Approved Apps) is still private. ?!?

Did I miss something or do something wrong?
This process is very confusing to me.

Thanks,
Dave.

You are talking about the link in my signature!

To apply you simply need to go to the Announcement within the applications forum, copy the "template", and then start a new thread in the "Applications for Promotion (Private)", pasting that template in there and filling it out.

Thanks Lee,

I’m still confused…
How do I start a thread in a private area that I don’t have access to?

BTW – I liked the interview you did on the net Income show with Jeremy. I’m surprised that I haven’t seen him post anything in here yet.

Aloha,
Dave.

You do have access to the Application forum though.
