Max and others,

This is somewhat of an issue, but not one I am to concerned about. Anyone caught lying or cheating will be banned, so that is a risk to them. There is a reason for the questions asked on the application as I make it a point to check each and every one out. I will look at their top earning site(s) and get a good feel for what they could make versus what they say they make. If I have ANY concerns, I won't approve them and will post a reply to them asking more questions (this has happened several times already).
Thats a great news Lee ...
Thanks for checking ..

Regarding showing bank records, scanned checks, etc...95% of people are not going to want to do this, and I doubt that the staff here will ever expect them to either...however...it wouldn't be asking much to request that applicants include things such as screenshots of adsense reports or even PayPal history (confidential stuff can be blurred out)...that kind of stuff is shown to the world every single day when people sell websites as there aren't exactly any privacy/confidentiality issues to be had there as long as the person is able to blur out certain material. That's not to mention that the applications are all private, meaning only a select few will even see it (the staff). If a person isn't willing to share this information, then I have a good feeling that they aren't telling the whole truth.

That said, even this isn't a sure fire way to prevent lying since it doesn't tell the whole story, but it could definitely help.

I agree with GTAce. I still believe that it's most definitely necessary. I see a few people already that I'm pretty sure don't earn that much money but of course I can't really back it up.

This is the last time I'll bump this. I still really think this should be a requirement. It's quite obvious who earns what. I saw someone asking the dumbest question but 'earns' $10-$20k a month? Let's be realistic here.

Intelligence isn't a requirement for wealth.

Of course not. Either way, I think I have made my point. I really hope Lee seriously considers it. I think have private forums for different earning groups is a bold move but I can't see it working without some sort of verification system in place.

You can feel free to PM me any concerns about users you feel may have cheated the system. As I said above, I will do the best I can and we will have to go from there.

You should know however that I knew a guy back in the day making $xx,xxx monthly and didn't even know about blending adsense ads. I helped him to install increase his monthly income by $x,xxx in less than 30 minutes. Not everyone knows a lot...

I guess you can put me in the "not many" that have registered and not joined a group. lol I'll happily remain an unknown and will share tips with people that earn or not in any category or group.

Anyone read the recent WSJ article on brainstorming? I don't mind risking being a "non-team player".

What if there was a way where you could view a specific group but not post in that section? This would solve the problem because the wealthier groups would not get noobish questions and the poor groups can benefit from their knowledge. I am just posting this as an option that would be a lot less radical. :shuriken:
