Hi,

How do you verify that someone in the group is actually earning the amount they claim to be? I don't want to join a group of people where only 75% of the people actually earn the money they claim and the others are just looking for ideas.

I have seen a person or two around the forum that I think aren't actually earning the amount specified but without naming names or causing trouble I'm proposing some sort of verification system?

What do you expect, a photo of a check or something? To my knowledge, Lee's relying on honesty?

Bank statements, copies of 1040s, etc... lol. I'm sure this will become an issue in the past.

It's upto the member being honest, Lee and the rest of the team can't do any more or any less. They are moderating the applications and doing their best to filter out any people who they think may just be doing it to get into the group.

Again, it's just a question of honesty. It doesn't make you any better being in group A than group B, it's just about the access to different information and discussion. If you want to lie and say you earn $x when you don't it's up to you, doesn't make you any better than the person really earning $x. All your doing is exploiting the system.

They could ask for proof, but I doubt a lot of people would be willing to do that. The only way is as Karl said, to rely on honesty.

I think having groups of money is not a good idea

Why dont we do it like this :
0-100 : Newly Registered
100-300 : Official Member
300-500: Silver Member
500-800: Golden Member
800-1000: Elite Star

Then the whole idea of an earners hierarchy would be scrapped and the private discussion areas would also be scrapped and one of the main focal points of the site would have gone completely. The way it is now seems to be fine.

I think the system works pretty well right now, honesty will prevail - and besides, if somebody gets caught lying, they will be the joke of the town!

I still think relying on honesty on the Internet is a ridiculous concept. I, for one, would not want to be part of a group sharing ideas with people who are potentially making $0 a month.

Very true there too.

There has to be some way to verify it. But I think as of right now, Lee is banking on honesty and trust (no pun intended)

I think for the most part people here generally have seen the others on the net before and can have a vauge idea of how well they do with or without their application.

But then again, when it comes down to it they are relying on honesty.

Pehaps the "lower levels" of income should be based on honesty, but the top several groups should require like proof of income. Screenshots, checks, etc.

I think the higher earners wouldn't be comfortable with showing proof of their income just to join a forum group.

Even for the 'red group' I believe it would be necessary. Let's face it: not many people are going to join the forums and not join a group. I'm guessing a very high percentage of people in the red group will not actually be making the money to justify access to that group.

This is somewhat of an issue, but not one I am to concerned about. Anyone caught lying or cheating will be banned, so that is a risk to them. There is a reason for the questions asked on the application as I make it a point to check each and every one out. I will look at their top earning site(s) and get a good feel for what they could make versus what they say they make. If I have ANY concerns, I won't approve them and will post a reply to them asking more questions (this has happened several times already).
