Lee,

1. You know better than myself but I'd like to see some type of SE friendly URLs. The only reason I'd like to see them is for Awstats. Awstats truncates the get variables on URLs.

2. What about some type of images under each name saying the usergroups they are in? Just a small addition which helps identify people other than the colors of their usernames.

Just a few small suggestions which I'd like to personally see..

I could envision the site coming up with some sort of images for each group if most felt the color change wasn't enough.

I doubt you will see SEO'd URLs though. I could be wrong, but I just don't think Lee is going to go that direction.

No, don't see that it would hurt anything. However, I don't see this in place in his other forums, so I just assume it wont be done here either.

I would say 165px by 30px.

List would be the following:
Unknown Group - No Application / No Income Specified
Gray Group - Earning a Web Income of $100 - $999 Monthly (no private forum)
Red Group - $1,000 - $4,999 Monthly
Blue Group - $5,000 - $9,999 Monthly
Black Group - $10,000 - $19,999 Monthly
Orange Group - $20,000 - $49,999 Monthly
Green Group - $50,000+ Monthly

I wouldn't have hard feelings if Lee doesn't use your images as he may already be having a designer doing this.

I'm going to create some too as I'm kind of bored right now.

Lee, sorry if I'm taking too much initiative it just seems like it's what the community wants. :-P

Regarding the SEO mod, what does everyone recommend? The vbSEO product, the mod over at vb.org, or what?

Well, you want something that comes with good support is you are going to use a URL rewrite. vBseo will cost $150, but the support is good. If you use a .org product, then you are at the mercy of it being updated as vbulletin's software updates. If the author of the mod decides they dont want to update it anymore, then you are up a creek without a paddle.

Remember though vBSEO is Zend encrypted so if vBSEO vanishes, you're basically up sh*t creek without a paddle.

Yes, you are then stuck looking for another product. However, I have had very good luck with them and they dont seem like a company that is about to vanish.

Over time, I have had better luck with paid mods than free mods. On a busy forum, it is very beneficial to have instant support with a major modification such as a URL Rewrite.
