Allocating 50 messages per account is standard across most forums but I certainly think it would benefit me and many other users if we could save more messages. 250 could do me

You can always scroll down to the bottom and download all your Private Messages as a Text, CSV, or XML file.

Not that I am getting a large amount of private messages at EarnersForum - but on other forums, it's very nice to be able to store all my PMs. The bigger, the better.
