I think we need a domain talk forum. I know that the increase in forums will make the forum look empty but why wouldn't a webmaster forum have a domain talk forum??

Just a suggestion, a domain talk forum should be part of aywe. Its alright if it won't work out though..

Thanks, I have been hearing this a lot. I will add it and take the cars, music, movies sections and move it back to general topic. I believe this is not helping our forums so hopefully the domain part will give some interest to other members and visitors.

Yes. The whole general forums thing should be just general. Anything goes in. Catergories aren't really needed in my own opinion though =P

Yes, have you ever thought of advertising on the sitepoint forums? You get a lot of hits from it. Might bring more members?

Their forums. yes you have to pay but you do get plenty of hits. And they have site of the day or something and Im not sure if they have just advertising spaces avaliable on the site but try it out I guess.3

oh ya that is the one im talking about. You can advertise your forum there too I suppose. I seen some too, but you can just put forum/directory. A directory can be said as a service I guess.

I think a good way to advertise that is to make a free banner spot on Aywe and then advertise it over at SP. This way people can come and register and sign up for the free banner/traffic system.

Yeah Hopefully next week we will get a stab at it. I was designing another site for my mom. It's www.mothergown.com/index.php - I checked the yahoo overture and it was about 400+ search per month. Hopefully she can get some traffic without advertising that much.

Thanks, yes the site is for a gown sales. My mom owns a bridal store so she can sell her gowns online also. We were looking into "wedding gowns" but it seems like everyone had taken the name.
