Hey all. The staff and I will have a final decision on this, but it is you, the members that participate in these contests. What contests would you to be in. Any suggestions are welcome.

Here's my suggestion. Open up an article section. Have members PM the admin 1 article each. No more. Then create a user account annonymous. Post the articles under that account. Then, hold a vote for best article. Winner gets a prize.

Recommended prize: IPB Anual liscence. Its $70. And, unlike vB, anual liscenes just mean no more support and updates after that, but it can be used as long as you want.

I like the cash prizes - they appeal to everyone where as prizes like what gprime suggested could limit the amount of entries due to people not being interested in the prize. Good idea for a contest though gprime

Not bad GPrime. Sparxx... I like the cash prizes too, but changing it around wouldn't hurt, and shouldn't slow any posting down... A prize is a prize. Plus not everyone can receieve money. While Paypal is easy to get, not everyone has access to a bank account, etc. This will be an ongoing discussion, so we will do what the members like to do.

Not a bad idea .. It would also help building up RealDN ..
And thats probablly what "we" want to do now isent it ?
And when there are more members there will be cooler to have a special contest like; the member who runs naked with the RealDN on the back on a football game wins $100 or something like that .. would be so funny !

I think the Referral Contest is very good. We have to think of some decent rules first, because anything can't go.

Yes we can and we watch that kind of stuff. Anybody with multiple accounts will be banned along with users who spam,cheat,etc.

In my opinion, a referral contest is a step in the wrong direction for RealDN. A referral contest will urge more members to sign up, but in the long run these members will most likely not be active.

It could be a bad swing in the wrong direction, but we can always add in the rules, active members only. Then again, if the members see the forum is active, they will be active as well too.

When the other members get paid. We have been working on the forum's wellbeing, so we have been side-swiped severely. We will host the next contest once the winners get paid though.

Well money is kind of tight now. You know how it is.

Don't worry about a thing, you will get paid, but I kind of rushed things, and didn't think the posting would go up this fast, even though there was some spam involved. The Staff and I are currently still looking over the posts, so we will let you all know, as soon as we know.

You know we're here all the time, so just post an inquiry to figure out if we know already, if we haven't already posted. I am actually hoping to get the payments done this week, but I really don't want to promise anything. I didn't know the server was gonna crash, and that the code was going to subside the forum for over a day and a half, so that sideswept us, and we also had to deal with the extra features on the site, so it has been a very rough weekend and beginning of the week. I'm sure you all understand this matter, and please click on the Ad Sense ad's, as this will get the forum generating revenue, which means faster payouts, more contests, and much more to keep all of you Real DNer's happy!
