Yes, you can. Webmaster-talk does own the copyright to those images anyway I think - they look like default stock photos of the items.

For Gilligan,
After making my second post, I have gotten a bit smarter and now remember name of person I intend to reply to, and in this case, like to thank Gilligan for posting that link to where I can find my own unique referral link because organizer of contest not doing good job (please don't ban me from contest or deprive me of prizes if by some miracle I won, for making that uncomplimentary remark. For Webmaster Talk veterans, are the administrator sensitive? Want to know so in future, I can keep my tongue in check).

Some problems out of US winners will probably have.
While in store credit won't be a problem, any items shipped to different countries will have to go through 'customs' and even though you received the item for free, you will have to pay a tax on it which is a certain percentage of it's worth.
This is a good FYI because you don't want to end up receiving all these packages you can't accept because of the customs tax.
Also I wanted to ask if anyone has started a thread where we can keep track of our points for this? It would be interesting to compare and see what levels everyone is up to so far.

I have a few questions about the referrals.
Are we supposed to use webmaster-talk's referral links?
Also, I signed up on all of them on Friday, so far I've only had 2 approvals (Paperjam and Max Bounty) and then 1 denial (RevResponse) because they said my site wasn't live... which it is. They haven't replied to my support email. (Buyer beware there!) Still no word from the others at all. There's 6 referrals from what I see. Don't know what they were talking about about having 4 unless others were added.
Do we get points for signing up on these ourselves?
I assume new user referrals for this forum should go through our own referral link right?

You get 50 points for every new member you send to Webmaster-Talk.com. You must use your unique, personal WT referral link which you can find here (while logged in):
For example, MY referral link is: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/index.php?referrerid=2
You get the 100 bonus points for joining and getting approved into the affiliate networks mentioned on the contest details page. You must use the links provided on that page so that they will know the lead came from this contest.
Does this help?

Going to echo NaughtyGirl (not the adult part, mine all family safe):
Where do we go to post articles? From some posts in this thread, it seems posts in the forums can be counted as articles?
Please contest organizer/s, please respond.
And I noticed some of the links in signature lines of some of my posts got edited out, but forum rules says links in signature line allowed?

I see from Gilligan's post we need to email article to
webmaster@webmaster-talk.com
Is that correct? If so, if accepted, where do they end up on the Web?

Is there going to be a table with top number of articles sent in, like the referrals made?

I have a few questions -
Where do my points for posts count from?
Like i had 90 posts before the contest started, those won't count in right? And the posts that are made after the contest started are counted in for the points.
And if i post about it in my blog, where do i let you know about it? is it to be in this thread?
And the articles? can be any SEO related articles? Am dumb for asking this as i could not get anything related to this.
Thanks!

That is the correct email address, yes. Articles will not be posted right away. It may be weeks until they are posted, even after the contest is over. We will not be updating anyone on who wrote what or how many everyone has submitted. That is part of the excitement of the contest....no one knows where everyone else stands.

You don't mention it anywhere until you submit your POINTS TOTALS to me at the very end of the contest.

No, there will not.

You need to keep track of your starting post count (as of April 10th) through the end of the contest. You only need to let us know about how you earned all your points at the end of the contest when you PM me, like the rules say. That includes articles, blog posts, etc. Articles can be SEO, SEM, marketing, tech, security, etc. related. Make them useful or we won't accept them. That is the only condition!

If the article fits the specifications (500+ words, genuine content), will it definitely be posted?

Also, if I submit an article, should I include it as an attachment (if so, what format?) or should it be posted in the body of the email?

Thanks for the clarification Lee, one last query -
Will you be replying back with the email stating that the article is accepted?

Hmm... RocketProfit link on the contest page gets me to a freelotto registration page. You're not asking us to register for that right?

I got that too and pointed it out earlier in the thread, no one seemed to care much though. If you do a search for Rocket Profit you can get to their main url.
I put webmaster-talk.com as the referral, not sure they'll get credit that way but I hope so.
