Just a wild guess, but with dan being away and joder not taking part, i'll have to rethink that. Although you have a good change

Yeah its hard to say who will win because the bulk of the points will probably be in blog posts and articles along with the network signups.

Off-topic posts cannot account for a large percentage of the total posts made. It must be a small percentage, less than 15-20% of the posts to qualify in the contest.

the posts must mean something...they mean something to me

lol, but what he means is that you can't post stuff 'thanks' or 'cool ', it needs to be useful. And counting up to and down from 1000 can be useful..i think...

This is probably one of the best Competitions, that I have ever discovered offline and online .

The prizes you are offering, just really fits in the bill for what I need at the moment. I really need a iTouch, Nintendo DS, Mac Air and some cash at this moment in time and it is such a coincidence that this competition has all those items on offer.

I would like to thank you Lee and the other staff members here for this opportunity and I would also like to wish GOOD LUCK to everyone that takes part in this contest

Is that a joke? :P Threads like the counting thread should not count AT ALL in my opinion. they're completely useless and do nothing but boost post count.

It isn't just for the sake of posting is what I'm saying, its a game, and takes your mind off more important things

Well, if things are really important, you shouldn't really take your mind off them. A waste of time, in my opinion, but to each his own. It's fine, I guess, but I just don't think that they're adequate to count for the contest.

I mean, "I post 494" - "just 493 for me" - "492 to go, that's it." Are posts like that beneficial to the forum at all? They don't really do anything. They shouldn't be counted in the contest.

I know there are some of you thinking that you don't have a chance at winning this contest so you are not participating all together. Maybe you feel that you don't have enough time to have the most articles/links/referrals, etc...

I want to stress that anyone could still win and this contest is far from over. Here are a couple reasons you should start getting busy:

1. Our contest has been getting a lot of mentions on many high profile websites and blogs but most of these are not using their referral links.

You can see here that the leading referrer has 11 at the moment and there are only seven total members referring over 5 new members.

Start getting a little creative (ppc, signatures) and you could be in a referrals lead pretty easily IMO.

2. While I'm not going to talk specific numbers, right now there are two members submitting the majority of the articles.

Remember, there will be 5 winners and $5,000+ in prizes going to each of them. Don't make it too easy for the winners!

A top 5 spot is still easily in anyone's reach. Can you say MacBook Air?

Wow. Just wow. I'm so excited that I have a chance to win this....I better start writing some articles . Shame my exams start in the next few weeks still gonna try my best And a good way to publicise my writing.

Man, my laptop is so rubbish, seriously a Dell Inspiron 510m does not run Photoshop well. Not only does the Air fit in a manilla envelope, but it is much more powerful than my current system .
