Hey All,

This time around the contest was to design a logo celebrating the birth of Apple Computers. Since their anniversary month is July let's end the contest on June 30th

We have 9 entries this time around and here they are:

Hey, the one you have up for me doesn't have the top shadow bar to blend with the repeat-x background-image.

No problem, a major peeve of mine is when things are slightly off or don't line up. Not OCD-level, but for web design.

#1 because it is better-centred than the others, and the illustration of the desktop is nicely done. Generally I don't like hyphens in the domain name, however this logo pulls it together with the mouse cord.

IMHO Logo #5 Looks the best Web 2.0 looking like. However, it has red colors, which webmaster-talk.com doesn't use.

I like #2 because it has somewhat of a some contemporary look while still showing respect to the semi-retro Apple logo (the multi-colored one would truly be retro). I remember coming across a backup copy of MacPaint, MS Word, and a third program all on one single 400k floppy disk! Those were the days!

No it was accidentally placed in the wrong folder. I just emailed Lee to correct it and put back the spring logo until this contest is over.

Hopefully it doesn't influence the voting much.

I'm putting my vote in for #4, 'cause it's subtle. Webmaster-Talk in the old Apple font. The white background doesn't bother me, because it's like it's on a monitor screen. Just needs something added like, "Apple Computers, 30th Anniversary" or something, written in the same font and the logo moved slightly left to accommodate it.

i'm a day late in closing the thread, but it's closed now. Logo #5 is the winner. I'll let the powers that be know and we'll get the winning logo up on the site.
