Signature Use

The signature is your personal space to use for favorite quotes and your website etc.

Lines

The maximum number of lines is 3 with a maximum text size of 2. The line count includes empty lines for spacing.

Links

Signatures can have a maximum of 4 links only.
Adult, casino, warez, pharmacy and affiliate links are not allowed.
You can only promote your own sites and domains."

Images & Scripts

Images and/or scripts are not allowed in signatures.

Text

The text in your signature must abide by all rules and be non-offensive to the other members.

Really, these rules are just an accumulation of what the staff has been talking about behind the scenes for some time now, before the forum was taken over. The new forum has just been the catalyst for actually initiating some of them.

In nearly EVERY forum I've ever been in, It's against the rules to have a link to a competing forum.

Just for general information the only new rules are the limit to 4 links in your signature and we added a few sites to the list that you can't link to. Everything else is the same as before.

A number of big forums allow competition sites allow competition sites to be added in signatures, just like WT.

I like Webmaster-Talk and glad for this update, but it will take time for all the members to know this.

rules isjust the usual though. we're luck we're allowed to have 4 sigs when you go to some, they only allow 2.
